Giants Within Us

One evening in Baku, I noticed a man standing beneath a streetlight, his shadow cast high against the side of a building.

The figure on the wall seemed impossibly large, stretching far above the person who created it. For a moment, he stopped and looked up, as though seeing himself from a different perspective.

I watched quietly from across the street.

The man eventually walked away, but the image stayed with me. It was a simple reminder that we are often far more than we appear to be, even if we do not always see it ourselves.
