Leh's Enchanting Twilight

As darkness gathered over Leh, the town slowly illuminated itself, a patchwork of lights spread across the valley floor. Beyond it, Stok Kangri rose into the night, its snow-covered summit still visible long after the surrounding landscape had disappeared into shadow.

For a while, I stood watching the contrast between the quiet town below and the vast mountain beyond. It was an unremarkable moment in many ways, yet it remains one of the memories I carry most clearly from my first evening in Ladakh.
