MOMENTS

Patterns by the Sea

With each tide, it leaves behind traces of its passing — lines etched into the sand, curves shaped by water, wind, and time.

For a brief moment, the shoreline becomes a place of unexpected detail, where shells, pebbles, and seaweed settle into arrangements no hand could ever repeat.

I stood watching as the incoming tide slowly reclaimed its work, erasing one pattern and preparing the next.

Perhaps that is what draws me back to the coast. Nothing lasts for long, yet every wave leaves something worth noticing before it disappears.
