Banksy's Inspiration

I found myself standing in front of The Flower Thrower for far longer than I had expected. The wall was weathered. The paint was beginning to fade. Yet the image still carried the same quiet power that had drawn visitors here for years.

Around me, life in the West Bank continued as normal. People passed by, conversations drifted through the street, and the world carried on.

I reached out and touched the wall.

Cold concrete beneath my fingertips. Paint on stone. A simple image in a place shaped by a complicated history.

Sometimes the most powerful messages are not the loudest ones.
