For more than two decades I have travelled beyond the familiar, documenting people, cultures and landscapes through photography and storytelling.

RANDOM THOUGHTS
Beneath ancient skies, I bid you farewell
For centuries, the Moai have watched over Rapa Nui, their stone faces turned inland, their expressions unchanged by wind, rain, or the passing of generations.
Standing before them, I found myself asking the same questions that countless visitors have asked before. Why were they placed here? What did they mean to the people who carved them from the island's volcanic rock?
The answers remain elusive.
Perhaps that is part of their appeal. The Moai do not reveal themselves easily. They simply endure, inviting each visitor to leave with their own thoughts and interpretations.
As I stood beneath the wide Pacific sky, I realised that not every journey ends with an answer. Some leave us with better questions.
And so I said my farewell to the Moai, carrying those questions with me as I left the island behind.
