The Seeds We Plant
The Seeds We Plant
"Just as a tree casts a shadow, our thoughts shape our lives. Be mindful of the seeds you plant." - Lord Buddha
As trees stretch tall and shadows grow,
So do our thoughts above and below.
Each thought a seed, a whispered prayer,
That shapes the world we build with care.
The shadows cast by branches wide,
Are shaped by what we hold inside.
In the mind's deep soil, seeds take their place—
Some filled with love, some bound in haste.
Be mindful of the seeds you sow,
What you plant, in time, will show.
A bitter root, a blossom sweet—
Both bloom within the heart's heartbeat.
A fleeting thought may seem so small,
But it can rise and soon stand tall.
So tend your garden, thought by thought,
And weave your life with all you've sought.
For just as trees cast shade and sun,
Our lives are shaped by what's begun.
And in the mind, the truth takes root—
The seeds we plant bear lasting fruit.
