Alone, I wander free, Through vast landscapes, a traveller's decree.

The rugged beauty, untamed and wild, It Ignites my spirit,

like a fearless child.

"The Mountains Are Calling And I Must Go."

 ~ John Muir 1838-1914

Patagonia, a wild and windswept region, beckons to those seeking adventure. Its majestic mountains, meandering waterways, and vast grassy plains have always been a magnet for a particular breed of traveller, offering unique experiences that are hard to find elsewhere.

I didn't come to Patagonia only to capture photographs. I came to Patagonia to learn what it means to breathe fresh air, even when it takes my breath away, and to get closer to the wind. I came to experience one of the last true wildernesses, with nature in its purest form. I travelled to Patagonia to feel it, know it, and live it. Now I understanding this wild land and my place within it.

So, have I persuaded you to venture into this forgotten land, to tread the paths once walked by pioneers like Francis Drake and Charles Darwin, and along the way, perhaps to uncover some secrets of your own?

This magical wilderness at the far edge of the world reminds me that we are just temporary spectators passing through the world He created. All glory be to him.

"In his hand are the depths of the earth, and the mountain peaks belong to him."

 ~ Psalm 95:4
